As part of its plans in promoting sports at the grassroots level particularly at the tertiary institutions, Viju Industries is not left out having demonstrated
its corporate social responsibility, using its vigor energy brand to support the just concluded Africa University Games (FASU).
The games which saw over 4,000 athletes and officials converge on the Lagos State University Ojo and the University of Lagos Akoka, produced best of athletes and future beaters for the country accordingly.
The athletes competed in several sports, including swimming, which took place at the swimming pool of the National Stadium Surulere Lagos.
According to a public relations expert Marce Ayanwun, representing Impact Public Relations and Marketing, the support by Viju to the games is a new wave in encouraging the youth.
“Especially at this time of economic difficulty in the country,” he said.
He expressed deep gratitude and urged other corporate organisations to emulate the gesture.
