Hearing begins in a case btw Comm of Police and ABU Zaria staff

The Chief Magistrate Court sitting at Chediya GRA, Sabon Gari, Zaria has began hearing into a case between Commissioner of Police and one Miss Joy Enobong-Akpan  a staff of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria for giving false information against some staff of the University.
Enobong-Akpan (defendant), a staff of Kashim Ibrahim Library (KIL), ABU, Zaria allegedly accused the staff of the institution of abducting her biological daughter Akon Iyene a student of Human Anotomy Department ABU, Zaria.
Our correspondent in Zaria reported that the prosecuting officer Sergeant Aliyu Jibril said the offense committed is punishable under section; 97,140 and 151 of the penal code.
Jibril said on the 4th of March 2016 at about 13hrs a letter of complaint titled missing student name Akin Iyene was filled from the office of Chief Security Officer ABU, Zaria at the Zaria Area Command of the Nigerian Police to further investigate the matter.
The statement further stated that a missing student have received a threat text message through this GSM no 08125359077 telling her that she would be kidnapped if her mother Joy Akpang Enobong refused to step down from SSANU politics, to her dismay the threat become real as her daughter was not found.
Those she accused were Muhammad Gimba-Alfa, Rev. J. F. Buka, Lawal Yakubu, Mohammed Yunusa and Haruna Muhammad.
After reading the FIR, Miss Joy Akpan pleaded not guilty to the offense.
Counsel to the accused person Barrister Aminu Aliyu apply for the bail of his client as the charges were bailable after objecting to the request of the prosecutor opposing the bail for fear of the accused jumping bail.
The presiding Judge, Chief Magistrate Musa Auwal granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 and two reliable sureties with N100,000 each, who must be residents within the jurisdiction of the court, two passports photographs a genuine residential address and GSM numbers.
The case had been adjourned to May, 8th 2016 for further mention.
