Hajj: Kaduna Airlifts over 3,400 Pilgrims back

Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Board said it has so far airlifted over 3, 400 pilgrims back to Nigeria since it commenced airlifting of pilgrims last week.
The board’s Public Relations Officer, Yunusa Muhammad Abdullahi, disclosed this in a statement issued in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
According to Abdullahi, Med-view airline arrived Kaduna in the early hours of Sunday with 449 pilgrims on board and said that was the 8th flight since the commencement of the operation.
According to him, more than half of Kaduna pilgrims have already returned home.
He said three airlines are airlifting Kaduna pilgrims; Max Air, Med-view and Saudi Arabian based airline, Flynas.
The statement said that a total of 5, 575 pilgrims from the state performed the 2016 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
