Two biological children of Hon.Yahaya Chado, a National Assembly member representing Maradun/Bakura Federal Constituency of Zamfara State.
Confirming the abduction, the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) Zamfara State Command, DSP Mohammed Shehu said the gunmen whisked away the two children, Muhammad 27 years old and Junaidu 35 years old in the early hours of Monday (1am) at the lawmaker’s country home in Gora Village of Maradun Local Government Area.
Shehu added that a combined team of the police and army had arrived the village and normalcy had been restored while an extensive search of the gunmen and the victim had commenced.
Shehu added that three other persons were also killed and four others wounded by gun men in the area.
An eye witness said the gunmen when they invaded they began to shot sporadically into the air and different directions which led to the death of about four persons and many others sustaining injuries.
