Gunmen Invade Cattle Market In Anambra, Kill 30 Livestock

Igboukwu cattle market in Igboukwu, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State was on Thursday evening, invaded by gunmen, killing about 30 livestock,  including cattle and goats.
Information has it that the gunmen took off to the cattle market, Igboukwu from Ekwulobia were they burnt Soludo’s local government headquaters and vehicles.
According to a source in the area, Mr Iyke Orji who confirmed the incident,  the cattle in the ranch were killed.
In a Facebook post, Orji said, “The unknown firemen/gunmen after burning Aguata Local Government Secretariat, plied through Ekwulobia and headed straight to Igboukwu.
“Stopping at Igboukwu gallop, there’s a cattle ranch where they sell over 30 cows and bulls by your right hand, those cattle belong to an Igbo man.
“These guys entered there, and killed all the cattle belonging to an Igbo man.”
A trending video on social media showed slain cattle littering the  ranch, with traders bemoaning their loss.
