Guber Polls: Millions Of Voters Troop Out  In  Buhari’s State

 Millions of voters across 34 local government areas of Katsina State  joined their counterparts in the country to vote for Governorship and Members of the State House Assembly respectively.

The elections which started as scheduled, were generally conducted peacefully under a heavy tight security. 

The problems experienced was that of BVAS which failed to take the thumb print in some polling units.

President Muhammadu Buhari cast his vote at Kofar Baru 3 polling unit in Daura metropolis.

 President Buhari who was accompanied by his Family members and aides, arrived the polling unit at exactly 9.53am.

He cast his vote after undergoing all necessary procedures, Including physical capturing.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after voting, President Muhammadu Buhari  again, assured that APC candidates would emerge victorious in the elections.

President Buhari said “Nigerians  Trust the present Administration, therefore, they will not allow anybody knowingly to steal their resources”.

He urged Nigerians to ensure the reasons why they would elect each candidate.

Our correspondent who monitored the exercise in Mashi Daura, Sandamu and Mai’adua report that the turn out was encouraging and with majority of women participating in most of the polling units.
