A non governmental organisation known as Arewarmu Duniyarmu Association has concluded plans to turban Engr Hassan Mohammed, the Sarkin Yakin Garkuwan Keffi during the association’s forthcoming annual general meeting scheduled to take place at the Emir of Bauchi’s palace on February 11, 2023.
This was contained in a notification letter written to Engr Hassan, jointly signed by the Chairman, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim and the Secretary, Comrade Isah Sulaiman.
The group further explained that, “At the occasion, you would be awarded with the title of the Ambassador of Peace (Matawalen Arewa), under the umbrella of our great association, during which we hope to arrange over 150 horse riders and will attract participants from all the 19 Northern states of the federation.
“The award to you was due to your steadfastness and sacrifice to humanity and we hope you would continue the good work,” the letter concluded.
Other side attractions of the event include Northern Nigerian cultural displays and lectures on contemporary issues.
Responding to the letter, Engr. Hassan Mohammed thanked the group for the award, saying, “I look forward to the occasion and will personally grace the event In Sha Allah”.
