The Kwoi Youth Progressive Association (KWOYOPA) has accused the Principal of Girls Science Secondary School Kwoi in Kaduna State, Yosi Kwasau, of selling off over 200 beds belonging to the school.
The beds according to a statement signed by Comrade Aminu Bako, President of the association, were reportedly sold to local traders for more than N475,000.
The association therefore, called on on the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, to investigate the matter as soon as possible and ensure the beds are returned back to the school.
They also urged education authority in the state to as a matter of urgency transfer Kwasau, out of the school to avert further mismanagement.
The association highlighted the importance of these beds in maintaining students comfort and expressed deep concern over the principal’s actions.
“KWOYOPA has previously addressed issues regarding the beds and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting government property in the community.
“We will not sit idly by as government facilities are vandalized and sold off.
“The association remains determined to safeguard local government assets for the benefit of the community and is demanding immediate action to rectify the situation”l.” the association said.
