Governors, Emirs, Biz Exec, dignitaries expected at Kaduna Polo closing today – Tournament Manager

As the Kaduna 2016 International Polo Tournament ends today (Saturday) after a week of exciting action, the Tournament Manager, Honourable Ibrahim Kontagora has disclosed that several dignitaries have indicated interest to attend the closing ceremony.
Speaking to newsmen at the Ahmadu Yakubu Polo Club House, Murtala Square Kaduna, he said that several governors, emirs, state and federal legislators, top business executives and other Grade A dignitaries were being expected to watch the star match for the Sardauna Cup which will be played between Kaduna El-Amin and a selected high goal team.
Honourable Kontagora said that being the premier polo club in the country, its tournaments have always attracted tourists from within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
“Particularly, this year, the attendance has been unprecedented we are really overwhelmed,” he added.
And true to his words, the Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly was has already arrived for the closing ceremony as he was spotted at the Polo Grounds on Friday, where he watched a match for the Emir of Katsina Cup in which Kaduna Sublime beat Katsina Max Air by 5-3.
