Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a man who has demonstrated total commitment to the revitalization of the economy, degrading of criminal elements in our country and has never wavered in his support for Northern Nigeria.
Governor Sani stated this at a one day public lecture organized by Arewa Think Tank to celebrate one year achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. The public lecture which held at Arewa House, Kaduna was themed “Our Diversity, Our Strength”.
The governor described Kaduna State as a miniature Nigeria, with all its complexities and possibilities. His administration is working hard to forge unity amongst our diverse people and have made tremendous progress in rebuilding trust and reawakening the true Kaduna spirit; the spirit of oneness, hospitality, resilience and innovation.
Dignitaries present at the event were: Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, APC Chieftain, Elder Bisi Akande, representatives of the Bauchi State Governor, Chief of Defense Staff amongst others.
Also, Governor Uba Sani, initiated the construction of a 13km access road connecting Turawa to Dinya through Da’a Kurungupi and Kadage in Soba LGA. This reflects the Governor’s commitment to enhancing socio-economic infrastructure in rural areas by constructing road and drainage networks throughout rural local government headquarters.
However, Semi Urban road Infrastructure: the Governor performed groundbreaking for the reconstruction of a 6KM asphaltic road from Rafin Guza to Hayin Na’iya to Malali Gabas to Kukumaki linking the existing ongoing road construction at KASU Permanent Site.
In the governor’s words: “Although our administration’s central policy thrust is Rural Transformation, we are also giving priority attention to the upgrade of infrastructure in semi-urban and urban areas in Kaduna State. We shall ensure that development reaches all parts of our state.”
The contract for this important road project which has been awarded to Thinklab Group Ltd will be supervised by the Kaduna State Roads Agency (KADRA). This road will re-energize commercial activities in Rafin Guza, Hayin Naiya, Malalin Gabas, Kukumaki and the KASU permanent site areas. It will also create job opportunities for the citizens.
And, at the weekend on 1st of June 2024, Governor Uba Sani performed another groundbreaking ceremony at Kasuwan Magani.
The groundbreaking was for the construction of a 6km asphalt road from Rafin Guza to Hayin Na’iya to Malalin Gabas to Kukumaki, linking the ongoing KASU permanent site.
Additionally, a 15km access road will be built to connect Kasuwan Magani to Wusar in Kajuru, and another 5.8km access road from Gwaraji to Wusar, connecting Igabi and Kajuru.
