Governor Sani Bello Frowns At Disobedience To Traffic Lights, Rules, Regulations

Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has again, frowned at the wanton disregard and disobedience to traffic-lights and other road traffic rules and regulations by motorists in the state.
The Governor, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, regretted how flouting of traffic rules and regulations have become rampant especially in Minna, the state capital.
He noted that the violation of traffic lights by some motorists have caused many accidents and brought untold hardship or sorrow to other motorists as well as commuters.
Governor Sani Bello warned motorists against such acts of lawlessness stressing that government would not tolerate the continued violation of traffic-lights and other road signs.
“Our administration symbolizes change, and every change must begin with obeying rules and establishing good conduct in every facet of our lives.”
“If I, as the governor of the state, with all laws allowing me to move ahead in traffic, can stop to obey the lights, it behoves on every motorists to do the same”, the governor added.
He stated that the state government would continue to empower and strengthen its partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other relevant stakeholders to enforce compliance and punish offenders.
