Governor Inuwa Bags Traditional Title Of Baraden Yamaltu

Gombe State Governor,  Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has been conferred with traditional title of Baraden Yamaltu by the Emir of Yamaltu, His Royal Highness,  Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu.  
A statement signed by the Director-General (Press Affairs)Government House Gombe, Ismaila Uba Misilli, dated Friday March 4, 2022, said that  this was contained in a letter conveyed to the Governor by the Emir’s delegation, led by San Turakin Yamaltu,  Alhaji Baba Mohammed.  
In the letter, the Emir said the conferment of the prestigious title of Barade was in recognition of the Governor’s uncommon  leadership qualities, and in particular, his contributions to the development and well-being of Yamaltu Emirate, Gombe State and Nigeria in general. 
The Santurakin Yamaltu,  while delivering the letter, commended the efforts of Governor Inuwa at sustaining peace and unity as well as his developmental strides across the state within short period of his stewardship.  
While accepting the title,  Governor Inuwa thanked the Emir of Yamaltu for the honour, assuring that he is aware that Barade is an important chieftaincy title which he will hold in high esteem just as he holds the traditional institution.
