Kano State Indigenes in the South West has lauded Governor Abdullahi Ganduje for sustaining adequate security in the state.
The socio-political organization in a communique issued at the end of its meeting held in Sabo, Ibadan, jointly signed by the Coordinator Alhaji Hassan Isiyaka, the Sarkin Kudun Yamma and the Secretary, Dr. Haruna Usman Balarable Gwarzo and attended by delegates from Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti states noted that since his assumption of office, Gov Ganduje has uphold democratic norms and embark on visible people-oriented projects in the state
According to the Kano State Indigenes in the South West, the governor is approaching governance in the state in a pragmatic way by upholding the principle of continuity as manifested in his refusal to abandon viable projects initiated by his predecessor in office, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The Kano indigenes praised the Governor Ganduje administration “for giving security a boost across the State by descending heavily on Boko Haram insurgents, kidnappers and cattle rustlers thus succeeding in arresting hundreds of such tormentors in Falgore forest where thousands of stolen cattle were also rescued and returned to their owners”.
They also lauded the governor for giving education top priority as manifested in the provision of various scholarships to qualified beneficiaries at home and abroad.
Commenting on workers welfare in Kano State, the group while commending Gov Ganduje for regular payment of salaries to the work force, advised other state governments “to learn from present feat in Kano State where there is no record of arrears of salaries in the civil service.
Pledging their continued solidarity for Governor Ganduje, the group promised to partner the governor in the mandate with a view to taking Kano State to higher heights.
