Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has appreciated Christian clerics in the state for supporting his administration towards sustaining prevailing peace across the state.
Engineer Sule made the assertion during a thanksgiving service to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the wedding of Hon. Oga Ogazi, which was held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area, on Friday.
Hon. Ogazi is the Deputy Majority Leader and Chairman, House Committee on Education, in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
The governor said at every given opportunity, he appreciates bishops and priests for supporting the state government to attain the prevailing level of peace in the state.
According to Engineer Sule, without the prevailingly peace in the state, there won’t be development.
He felicitated with Hon Ogazi and his family on the occassion of their tenth year wedding anniversary.
Engineer Sule announced a personal donation of five million naira to be used in completing the ongoing work in the church.
The celebrant, Hon Ogazi, said he chose to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his wedding, to appreciate God for blessing his family.
Prominent dignitaries that attended the event include the state deputy governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and Minister of State, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi.
