Benue State Governor, Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has expressed his administration’s readiness to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s developmental policies for the general good of the citizens.
Governor Alia expressed this in Makurdi, the Benue State capital while declaring open a sensitization programme on priority areas of President Tinubu’s administration, organized by the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, held at the Conference Hall of Federal Secretariate
The Benue State governor represented by his Technical Adviser on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, Mr. Solomon Iorpev, pointed out that the State Government under his watch is committed in providing good governance to people of the State, and emphasized the need for people to invest in agricultural production
Delivering her keynote address, Head of Federal Information in the State, Mrs. Esther Ushie who delivered the Minister of Information and National Orientation Agency’s message, noted that the essence of the sensitization programme is to look at priority areas of President Tinubu’s administration getting across to the people and getting feedback from the citizenry.
The event with the theme “Sensitizing the citizenry on Federal Government Intervention Programs at the States and Local Government Levels by the Honorable Minister, Mohammed Idris” had in attendance the state Director, National Orientation Agency, Mr. Audu Idoko and a traditional ruler from Makurdi Local Government Area and some security personnel in the State.
