Member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Federal Constituency at the green chambers, Honourable Kwamoti La’ori has organised a training for 30 of his consitutents on dry season farming to increase yeild and boost productivity.
The training and empowerment for 30 women and youth took place at Medan Teneke Hall Demsa Local Government Area of the state.
New Nigerian reports that the beneficiaries were taught new farming methods, and how best to take care of their dry season farms for high yield and were also provided with farm inputs.
Guest speaker at the occasion, Farm Manager Adamawa Communal Farm, Mr Kuleino Faruk said that for now farming is the major way of becoming rich, thus if the farmers are taught and exposed to modern way of farming it will have positive impact on their farming and living condition.
While thanking La’ori for his kind gesture, Faruk admonished the beneficiaries to used the items and knowledge assiduously to help them become self reliant.
He also called on other well to do individuals from the area to work hand in hand with the member to help the people at all times.
The royal farther his Majesty, district head of Demsa Fedelis Ali Butule, was full of appreciation for the efforts of La’ori to uplift the standard of his people.
In her good will massage Madam Aginas Dan called on other individuals to emulate the member for the complete betterment of the area and it’s people.
Also speaking Madam Alis Clement Dugu said there is no better time for such training than now she stressed that La’ori has done something meaningful to his community which is highly commendable.
Dugu however, advice the member to extend such training to other field “This kind of training should not just be on the farming sector alone the member should exten it to order field”,
The highlight of the event is the presentation of the certificate for the beneficiaries.
