Gongoni Storms Kaduna Trade Fair With Several New, Rebranded Products

Besides getting a 10 per cent discount for each purchase, visitors shopping from the stand of indigenous household products manufacturers, Gongoni Company Ltd, at the ongoing 39th edition of the Kaduna International Trade Fair, were welcomed by the sales reps, who introduced several new products the company is introducing to the fair, which prides itself as ‘Africa’s Biggest’.
One of the new products that customers were seen keenly interested in is the ‘Rambo Insecticide Cones’, a fragranced cone and Insect killer.
The cone has both insect killing an perfume benefits, which burns within 15 minutes, leaving behind a traditional Bakhour perfume, a unique selling point that makes the customers demand for it.
Other new products that are being showcased, according to the company’s General Manager Marketing, Abdulrahman Abubakar are Rambo Insecticide Spray 500ml which he said knocks down both flying and crawling insects.
“This year, we also came here with Septol Handwash, a disinfectant handwashing liquid that I effective in reducing bacteria and germs found on the skin that may cause diseases and infections,” he explained.
He said that in view of the prevailing weather conditions that make rooms, offices and cars stuffy which may result to foul air, they have come up with Room Fresh Lavender fragrance air freshner,  as well as the Stick Fresh Air Freshner in the same fragrance.
“We also came with the new fragrances of Marina Air Freshner, as well as  Bint El Sudan Incense Cone,” he added.
Abubakar said that the antiseptic sop, Septol also now comes in five new variants which include Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Black with Osun, Cool With Menthol and with Lemon.
On the patronage they have received at the fair so far this year, he said that they are not doing badly.
“We are not oing badly, but the good thing is that we have some traditional customers that do their annual purchase of their products every trade fair and it lasts them for the year. I think I can count about six of that.
“We are also getting patronage from the wholesalers, retailers and families who buy for consumption,” he added.
