If the information at New Nigerian Sports disposal is anything to go by, top scorer from last season, Ekunta Etenfa (11 goals) will still not get to play a game for Go Round FC as he is yet to recover fully from his injury when they take on Heartland FC on Wednesday January 24, 2918, at Port Harcourt.
Etenfa has only managed to get on the match day squad for the game against Akwa United all season and is yet to play.
However, there will be three returnees to the match day squad for Go Round FC- George Vincent got a knock against Akwa United on Match Day 2 and did not travel to Makurdi, Metuh Jesus who has not been listed since his substitute appearance on matdh day 1 in Jos and Shadrach Oghale who may get his first start for the club this season against Heartland.
Shadrach scored five goals for the club last season in the Nigeria National League.
Three of them have been listed by coach, Ngozi Elechi for the match day squad.
It would be recalled that Go Round FC have not dropped points on their home ground in the last one year.
They have also never lost to Heartland in a competitive game.
Speaking to New Nigerian Sports ahead the encounter, coach Ngozi Elechi of Go Round FC said, “Vincent, Shadrach and Jesus are ready to play and that is why they are in the team for the game.
“I expect victory. We all expect victory. We cannot afford to drop points at home. We must win. The players know this and the fans also know this.”
