President of Ghana National Supporters Union(GHANSU), who also doubles as the Vice President African and others supporters Union(AFOSU),Abraham Bouackye, has thumped up the new executive of Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), led by its National Chairman, Samuel Ikpea.He described their election as the dawn of a new thing in the club even as he expressed hope that the already existing relationship between the sisters clubs would be sustained.
This was stated during a courtesy visit to the International Secretariat of the club at Ayinde Giwa Street, Surulere, Lagos.
According to him Ghanaians are happy with the peaceful conduct of their election and are looking to working with their Nigerian counterparts toward eradicating football hooliganism in Nigeria and Africa.
The Ghana Supporters Union Boss while announcing that plans have been concluded by his members to host and award the newly inaugurated Nigerian Exco later in August this year in Ghana.
Earlier, he had commended the doggedness of the President General of Nigeria football and other sports supporters club World wide,Dr. Rafiu Oladipo for is immense contribution and cordial relationship among the various supporters club in the continent even as he expressed confidence that Nigeria and Ghana will qualify for ,Russia,2018 World Cup.
In his remarks National Chairman of Nigeria football Supporters Club, Rev. Samuel Ikpea,has also expressed joy at the recent cordial relationship exiting between the sister clubs saying it will be sustained. ‘And that the visit will no doubt open a new chapter in sports supportership in Nigeria and west African sub-Region in general”. Ikpea concluded.
