Gbagyi Youths Begs Traditional Ruler Over Leadership Tussle

Association of Gbagyi Youth for a Better Future has tendered their unreserved apologies to their traditional ruler, His Royal Highness, Chief (Dr) Danjuma Sheko’aga Barde Sa Gbagyi 1, and the Gbagyi Youth Progressive Union (GYPU) and it’s Chairman, Amos Isah.
The chairman Board Of Trustees‎ (BoT) of the association, Comrade Yakubu Waziri tendered the apology on behalf of other members of the association in an interview with select journalist in Kaduna on Monday.
It would be recalled that members of the association  had dragged to High Court, Chief of Gbagyi traditional council‎, Secretary Gbagyi traditional council, chairman of GYPU Amos Isa, Ibrahim Wadason, Isah Ibrahim and the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (KRPC)  over who represents the community as Community Liason Officer (CLO) at KRPC located within their domain.
Comrade Waziri said, although the case has been settled out of court‎, it is still imperative to tender their apologies particularly to their revered traditional ruler and beg for his forgiveness in which ever way their action may have embarrassed him.
In his words, “As Chairman board of trustee of the Gbagyi youth for better future, I have taken responsibility of whatever happens while the leadership tussle that led to seeking legal redress lasted.
“I wish to call on all the hitherto agrrieved parties to sheath their sword even as we tender our unreserved apology to ‎His Royal Highness SA Gbagyi. We regret our actions and any form of embarrassment our actions may have caused the traditional council and the entire gbagyi community.
“We plead with His Highness to forgive our mistakes, we still remain his loyal subjects and youths. In the same vein, I wish to as well appeal and apologise. To GYPU, it’s Exco for whatever our actions may have caused them.
“Let’s forgive and forget, join forces to move the entire community forward because there is the need to come together as a united bloc. They. Should kindly accept our apology, let’s forget the past, join hands together and build our community for a brighter future” he said.
