Tijjaniyya Islamic Movement has in Bauchi at the weekend launched a financial support scratch card to sustain its activities in the country. The event was held at the residence of the sect leader, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
Launching the new card, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, called on followers of the movement and Muslims generally to donate to the cause of Allah by purchasing the form.
The Cleric noted that time has come when Muslims should create new avenues of revenue generation to conduct their activities without difficulties.
He commended those that initiate the scratch cards fundraising, saying the initiative will go a long way in sustaining the Islamic cause.
Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi explained that God will bless whoever donate for the cause of Islam, as the reward will be double of whatever one donate, hence the need to generously donate.
Also speaking, Sheik Qurayshi Ibrahim Nyass pointed out that donation and support for the work of God attract much blessings and rewards from Allah.
Sheikh Qurayshi Nyass called for support of the Qur’an and Mosques, saying “We are very rich to do our things ourselves, we don’t have to trouble other people by soliciting for funds, no contribution is too small to the cause of Allah”
Former Speaker of House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’abba, who graced the occasion, described the innovation as timely in view of numerous activities of the group that require financial support.
Alhaji Ghali Na’abba, who expressed concern on the non challant attitude of some Muslims towards contributing to the progress of Islam, charged them to change for the better.
Na’abba, while commending Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi for his contributions towards the sustenance and progress of the Tijjaniyya sect in Nigeria and Africa, prayed Allah to grant him more improved health to enable him sustain his service to humanity.
National coordinator of the scratch card fund raising, Alhaji Mohammed Dahiru Bauchi, has shortly after the launch told journalists that the scratch card is being sold at N100 per card and above to whatever amount one can afford
The National Coordinator of the fundraising Scratch Cards Alhaji Mohammed Dahiru Bauchi said that the scratch cards were available at all designated centres in all states of the federation.
