Fuel scarcity bites harder in Taraba

Motorists in Jalingo and other towns in Taraba State have decried fuel scarcity which persisted for over four weeks now and it still biting harder.
Owners of vehicles now spend hours on queue to buy fuel from the few that have product and lamented that the scarcity is causing them untold hardship.
New Nigerian findings revealed a litre of petrol now sells at between N130 to N140 in the few filling stations that have supply.
Reports from other parts of the state revealed that a liter of petrol sold at between N200 to N250 depending on the location.
Commuters who spoke on the scarcity however accused petroleum marketers of diverting fuel to black marketers.
A vehicle owner, Mr. James said while only few filling stations in Jalingo metropolis sold fuel, black marketers are in business.
