Foundation Moves To Uplift Standard Of Less Privileged

Beatrice Oluwasanya Foundation (BOF) a community based non-profit organization is set to uplift the standard of the less privileged in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Other programmes of the Foundation include, supporting the youths and the elderly in areas of education, healthcare, and economic/ntrepreneurial empowerment.
A statement by the image maker of the NGO, Mr. Afolabi Temitope said the foundation also assists those who “justly needs help to be lifted out of abject poverty”.
According to him, BO Foundation is interested  in sustaining  the legacy of love and compassion which  late Madam Beatrice Oluwasanya of Uso community, Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State is known for during her life time.
Madam Oluwasanya, he said, was a woman whose life was a role model that could  be aptly summed up for her services to her family,  children, the less privileged and her community.
He therefore noted that BO Foundation is a platform that renders humanitarian services and has continued to work on other issues Oluwassnya cares deeply about as a woman of substance.
In the area of Education, he said, it is the desire of the Foundation  that no child is left behind from receiving quality education on account of economic status.
He assured that  the foundation shall mobilise resources to support those outstanding less privileged and promising children who otherwise would have had difficulty receiving education due to financial constraints.
His words, “Our support for education is strictly need based and shall cover primary, secondary, vocational and tertiary education levels”.
To attain this, he said,  the Board of Trustee this is headed by Pro. Rufus B. Fatuyi is working in collaboration with the community to provide grants, scholarships and other logistics
Other areas of collaboration he said,  is the Healthcare services which  BO Foundation  provides  to support  children and the elderly especially on cases of diabetes and high blood pressure.
Afolabi also said Economic/Entrepreneurial Empowerment programme of the Foundation stands her out among other NGOs as Employment creator among the youth.
He however called for the  support of the privileged individuals and group of people in the society  to make the dream of the great woman, Madam Oluwasanya a reality.
