If skills are identified and developed in Nigerians, the country would take a leap and become of the developed nations on earth.
.Chairman Board of Trustees, Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria, Cyril Ogboli expressed this while fielding questions from newsmen on the sidelines of  2022 Special Session Mandatory Talent Development Programmes (MTDP) and Training, held at the National Teachers Institute (NTI), Kaduna on Thursday March 17, 2022.
“Today, March 17, 2022 marks our Special Session Mandatory Talent Development Programmes (MTDP) and Training.
“The reason behind the theme, “Skills Paradigm Shift: Identifying & Harnessing Skills and Talents” is that we came to realization that NIgeria has to focus on skills and talents because the world is looking for such to pay for.
“We need our people to help us move Nigeria to a first world economy,” he said.
He expressed hope that the thoughts they shared will help them to move into action that will propel NIgeria to greater heights.
“We appreciate the presence of the acting governor, Her Excellency, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe and management of NTI,” he said.
In a seperate interview, the acting Vice Chancellor, Kaduna State University (KASU), Professor Yohanna Tella said that the (MTDP) is remarkable
” The programme is remarkable because I know its importance for Kaduna State University.
“We look forward to collaboration with this body because their mandate is similar to ours,” he said.
According to the VC, KASU as an institution is trying to recognise the talents in their institution for further grooming.
