The need for the Federal Government to rehabilitate vocational centres as well as empower the Internally Displaced Persons, (IDPS), to engage in petty businesses has been emphasised.

The called was made by Catholic Archbishop of Kaduna Diocese, Most Rev. Matthew Mon’oso Ndagoso at the presentation of palliative materials to IDPs from Borno and Adamawa states staying in Kudenda area of Kaduna state at the week by the Christian Students Fellowship, Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria saying they can engage in frying bean cakes (akara), yams among others to enable them contribute their quota to development of the society.
Most Rev. Ndagoso who spoke through the Coordinator of Justice, Development and Peace Caritas of the Kaduna Archdiocese, also urged the military to put in more efforts in its fight against the Boko Haram sect.

According to him the fight against Boko Haram should be seen as a collective responsibility by all politicians and the ordinary people by exposing those harbouring and perpetuating the prevalence of the insurgence.
He emphasised the need for Nigerians to begin to speak with one voice in the fight by seeing each other as one and be our brothers’ keeper.
The Archbishop noted that the Church has done a lot for the IDPs and has continuously prayed that those inflicting the pains should change and accept Christ, while he advised the NCAT donor students not to relent on their love for the needy.
“You should make a difference where ever you find yourselves, especially when you go into the labour market,” the Archbishop advised.
Earlier in his speech the President of the NCAT Christian Students, Seun Adeleke described their gesture as part of the Fellowship’s yearly outreach to the needy in order to encourage them which is in fulfilment of the love Jesus Christ possessed.
Responding, Ā the Leader of the IDPs, Mrs. Liyato Yohannah expressed their gratitude to the NCAT students Fellowship for the gesture and prayed that will God guide and blessed them.
