A Swiss national, who doubles as acting president of Amalgamation of Nigerian Women Football Club Coaches, ANWCC, Hans Kramer has appealed to other expatriates in the country to motivate Nigeria women footballers through being involved in the 21st All Stars Football Carnival in Lagos.

The gangling Kramer, who had played a key role in the annual Amalgamation of Nigerian Women Football Club Coaches’ All Star Tourney, said such support would guarantee the discovery of young and talented footballers that would put Nigeria at the zenith of global football besides the girls being responsible bread winners in their various homes.

With women footballers from different parts of the country already training at the practice pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos, Kramer, who is also the chairman of the Local Organising Committee of the championship, said they are encouraged by the fact that the likes of Liebherr Nigeria, PW Nigeria Limited, China Embassy, F.B and ME CAHT have agreed to be major sponsors, as the All Stars carnival hold between January 9 and 21, 2017 at the National Stadium, Lagos.

While hoping that the Nigeria Football Federation and club officials would storm the venue for quality young women footballers, Kramer expressed gratitude to GTESC Nigeria, Dovar Hotel Lagos, M.P Construction and Mr. H. Stork for providing jerseys for players of Teams Switzerland, Nigeria, Italy and Austria.

“We greatly appreciate all those helping us to promote women football in Nigeria just as we call for more from others. After the trainings, players will be drawn into 16 to 18 teams for the tourney that starts Monday January 9, 2017. Quarter finals games will be played at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Lagos,” concluded Hans.
