Three Distinguished personalities; Chairman Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Former Minister of FCT, Senator Mohammed Adamu Aleiro and Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i would be conferred with Honorary Prestigious Fellowships by the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
Addressing a news conference at the Polytechnic Conference Hall, Rector of the Institution, Arc. Mohammed Sani Aliyu disclosed that the awardees would be conferred during the institution’s 12th Joint Convocation ceremony slated for Saturday November 26th, 2016.
Accord to him, a total of 6,554 graduants with 1,759 graduates to be awarded Higher National Diplomas (HND), 4, 082 National Diplomas (ND), 510 National Certificate of Education (NCE) and 203 will receive Post Graduate Diploma (PGD).
He noted that Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu is the visitor during the convocation while Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of the state would be the Special Guest.
Other activities line up for the event includes the commissioning of projects executed by the institution to be performed by Governor Bagudu.
