The Kano State Controller of the Federal Fire Service, CFS Ibrahim Ubali has ssid that they are working day and night to save lives and property through public enlightenment as preventive measures where tremendous success has been recorded in accordance with the law governing its establishment.
He stated this in an interview with our correspondent in his office, adding that through public enlightenment and organising interactive sessions, the occurrence of fire outbreaks is now reducing, especially with his men always engaged in preventive techniques across Kano State.
CFS Ibrahim stressed that, " Federal Fire Service Kano Command would continue to enlighten the general public on the importance of preventive measures because prevention is far better than cure."
He commended the people of the state for their understanding and cooperation whenever his command organises an interactive session.
After giving historical background of the establishment of the Federal Fire Service, CFS Ibrahim Ubali stated that the organisation is getting more recognition from the federal government and the general public, adding that it is one of the oldest establishments that focuses on human endeavours.
Furthermore, CFS Ubali said that, " we solicit public participation because fire incidents result in the loss of lives or property, herefore, it is important to promote people's participation at every level to ensure more success.
He announced that there is cordial working relationship between the Federal Fire Service and the Kano State Fire Service, like what is being witnessed at present, whenever there is an outbreak in the state.
He reassured that his command would continue to save lives and property across its domain.
CFS Ibrahim Ubali commended the Federal Controller of the Federal Fire Service, CG Abdulganiyu Jaji for his zeal and determination towards the success of the organisation especially at present, when incidents of fire outbreaks are rapidly reducing due to active preventive measures that are being taken since he assumed office.
