The final of the 8th edition of the Kaduna Corporate League Cup comes up on the 9th of July 2016 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium between FCMB and Fidelity Bank.
To qualify for the finals FCMB deafeted GTBank by a lone goal, while Fidelity saw of UBA on penalties after 2-2 draw at regulation time.
Unity Bank who are the defending champions did not take part in this year’s edition and have won four of the last seven editions, with Fidelity Bank winning two and Skye Bank once.
As part of the side attractions, there will also be 100metres race for men and women.
Various prizes like the Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Highest Goal Scorer, Best Coach and the Most Valuable Player Award will be won.
The occassion will be graced by LMC Chairman Shehu Dikko who will be the Special Guest. The Kaduna State Commissioner of Sport, Hon. Daniel Danauta will be the Special Guest of Honour, Kaduna State FA Chairman, Alh. Abdulkadir Kapaka will be the Chief Host, while Guests of Honour include Hon Sabo Babayaro, Hon Abdulazeez Mohamed, Hon Shehu Adamu, amongst many others.
The coordinator of the tournament, Vincent Akinbami has promised a glamourous final on Saturday.
The tournament is organised by Bestworth Insurance Brokers and supported by Wadson International and Bertsway Sports International.
