Fayose promises immortalizing dead Ekiti 6 Doctors, receives bodies amidst tears

Ekiti state Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose has promised to assist the families and immortalise the six Ekiti Doctors that lost their lives on Sunday along Kaduna/Abuja road in a car crash on their way to Sokoto State.
Fayose made the promise shortly after receiving their remains in Ado Ekitim the State capital.
The remains of the Doctors and their driver were conveyed to the state on Tuesday in seven ambulances from Abuja and deposited at the state morgue.
The Doctors lost their lives on their way to Sokoto to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).
The six Doctors were Tunde Aladesanmi of the FETHI; Ojo Taiwo EKSUTH; NMA Secretary, Akinyele Alex;  J. Ogunseye of the Health Management Board; President, EKSUTH Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Olajide, Dr. Adeniyi James of the FETHI and their driver, Mr. Moses  Ajibola.
They were accompanied by security men including Policemen, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps and Department of State Service.
Six survivors of the accident, including the state chairman of the NMA, Dr. John Akinbote, dressed in black attires, accompanied the ambullances that came by road in a convoy of cars.
Fayose, dressed in black attire received the bodies at the popular Fajuyi Park from where the ambulances took the bodies to the morgue of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital.
Some close relations of the deceased Doctors were seen weeping uncontrollably as the ambulances were taken their beloved along the streets of Ado Ekiti to the mortuary.
The Chief Medical Director of EKSUTH, Dr. Kolawole Ogundipe said the corpses were being deposited at the morgue to enable their families identify them.
One of the victims, Dr. Aladesanmi, will be buried today Wednesday.
