Barely three days to the 7th edition of the Faith Academy Kaduna Inter-House Sports Competition, goodwill is pouring in as Kaduna based multi-media dealers, Micromanna have donated a giant multiple colour printer for the Most Valuable Athlete.
Similarly, Chairman of Ganet Football Academy, Eng. Gana Sawa has also donated trophies and medals for the football event (Senior boys Category).
This was disclosed by the Faith Academy Kaduna Sports Facilitator, Coach Felix Osiebe who also announced that several dignitaries have indicated interest to be physically present at the event.
He explained that the Special Guest of Honour would be the Director Grassroots Sports Development, Fed Min of Youth and Sport, Dr. Ademola Are.
“We are also expecting North West Zonal Representative on the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) board, Hon. Shehu Gusau,Ā the Chairman Committee for Sports, KDSHA, Honorable Bityong, Hon. Commissioner Min of Youth & Sport, Kaduna State, Mr. Daniel Danauta and the Chairman Nigeria Beach Volleyball Commission, Eng. Nimrod Musa.
“Still on our VIP list we are expecting to host Chairman Ganet Academy, Eng. Gana Sawa, National Organising Secretary, YSFON,Ā Malam Abdulrasak Usman, Coordinator, School Administrator Danbo International Schools, Mrs Grace Isaiah, Chairman SWAN Kaduna Chapter, Mr. Isaiah Benjamin,Ā Head Coach Cricket Kaduna State, Coach Joe Onoja and the Stadium Manager Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Mr. Gideon Malo,” he said.
Mr. Osiebe also hinted that the Zonal Coordinator, Federal Ministry of Youth & Sport Northwest Zone, Hon. Commissioner, Min of Education Kaduna State, Director Private Schools Board, Kaduna, President National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools are also top on the list of those expected.
The Sports Facilitator said that all was set in ensuring that the competition was successful.
“We thank the school’s management for providing all the material and moral support in ensuring that the standards are higher this year. We are looking forward to a brilliant outing,” he added.
The coach also reminded the over 50 invited schools that indicated interest in the invitational relay that they were still being expected.
The event is billed to commence by 10am at the schools sports arena, located at Mararaban Rido, Chikun Local Government Area.
