Expelled, Suspended ANCLA Members May Be Granted Amnesty If – President

Expelled and suspended members of the Association of Nigeria Customs Licenced Agents (ANCLA) may be granted amnesty for readmission if they truly change and resolve to abide by its constitution, New Nigerian Newspaper has learnt.
The National President of the Association Prince Tony Nwabunike gave the hint in statement made available to journalists in Lagos.
He posited that the gesture is not out of fear or cowardice and therefore urged that it  should not be taken for granted.
According to the statement, Nwabunike warned that any form of indiscipline or lawless behavior will not cordoned under his watch.
His words, ” We may review the various sanctions ranging from suspension to expulsion and grant them amnesty for readmission, if they truly change and resolve to abide by our constitution.
This is not out of fear or cowardice and therefore should not be taken for granted because under my watch any form of indiscipline or lawless behavior will not cordoned”.
The ANCLA boss asserted that there is no leadership tussle in the Association, stressing that its real leader and recognised group that would never want it destroyed are known. 
Nwabunike said that It has also become imperative to rebuild confidence in the teeming members and reassure them of absolute reliability from his leadership.
” Our secretariat is open and functioning for our members use and operation while as leaders we keep working towards a more peaceful and orderly body.
ANLCA as a body of professionals shall continually pursue the interest of the national economy by supporting Federal Government ease of doing business and trade facilitation agendas”, he further reassured the members.
While examining government policies on ease of doing business at the ports, Nwabunike said the leadership of the group shall also support government initiative at ensuring regulatory and security agencies operatives abide by their appropriately specified Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) aimed at making our seaports, airports and approved border stations work in synchrony with international best practices”
