“The resolute effort of the present administration in the fight against corruption is highly appreciated. However the Anti-Graft exercise should not be seen as being selective. The government should consider the establishment of a special court to try corruption cases and bring about timely dispensation of justice,”it said.
On the conflicting judgment emanating from the judiciary, the sect added that”the National Judicial Council should look critically into the situation so that the trust of the masses on the judiciary as the final arbiter would not be lost”.
It also urged the federal government to urgently tackle the problem of poverty brought about by mass unemployment and misgovernance in the country, saying, poverty is becoming more pronounced in the country as a result of the mass unemployment and the misgovernance.
According to the sect, “the prevailing high rate of poverty is worrisome”, adding that there is the need for government to create an enabling environment for business to thrive by prompt payment of salaries and wages.
It also advised federal government to “diversify the economy in favour of solid minerals to attract credible investors; agriculture for sustainable food security: and youth empowerment to reduce youth restiveness and crime rates”.
On the change mantra by the present administration in the country,“observed that for the change agenda of the government to succeed, the home as a pivotal role to play being the nucleus of the society. Parents/Guardians are therefore enjoined to be role models for their children/wards”.
“Houses of God should also endeavour to prioritise the making of good homes. In addition, the Council observed that moving closer to God is the only antidote to the hydra-headed challenges facing the nation”.
While felicitating with the Grand Amirah Shafaudeen In Islam, Alhaja S.F Olagoke JP on her 59th Birthday Ceremony held at Shafaudeen International Headquarters, Wakajaye, Ibadan, the sect pray Allah to continue to give our Grand Amirah long live, sound health and prosperity.
