The big Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) clubs like Enyimba International FC of Aba, Niger Tornadoes and several others are making enquiries with the intention of signing talented players to beef up their squad from Kaduna United FC.
Kaduna United Chairman, Emmanuel Babayaro disclosed this in Kaduna on Wednesday, during the draws for the Kaduna Net Busters Challenge Cup, held at the Indoor Gymnasium Hall of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
According to him, the players that are being sought were discovered by Kaduna United as part of its grassroots development plan for football in Kaduna State.
“As I speak to you, we have Enyimba, Tornadoes and other big clubs coming for our players. This is part of our mandate that we gave ourselves when we came on board as the management of Kaduna United FC,” he said.
Babayaro explained that because all their players were groomed by them from the grassroots, they turn out to become honest, dedicated and goals oriented players.
Speaking further, he said that as a result of the sound management team overseeing activities at the club, even if he were to be absent, the club would still be run without hiccups.
“This competition that we are having today was not just thought out recently. We have a four-year plan that we are executing and we believe by the end of the time-frame, there would be several results to show,” he added.
