End Of APC Has Come In Oyo State, PDP Chairman Says As He Receives Decampees From APC, ZLP

Oyo State Chairman of the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha has declared that the end has come for the  All Progressives Congress (APC) with the decamping of thousands of APC and Zenith Labour Party members in Itesiwaju /Iwajowa/Kajola/Iseyin Federal Constituency of Oyo State.
The PDP Chairman who said this while receiving the decamping  APC and ZLP  to the party in the area urged the decampees to be of good conduct as well as join hands with the leadership of PDP at the ward, local and state level in other to give a boost to Governor Seyi Makinde’s drive at making PDP the preferred party by Oyo state citizens.
The defectors led by Chief Basiru Ahmed Aranse described their defections as home coming.
Speaking on behalf of the APC decampees, Hon Ayansiji, compared their sojourn in APC to that of the Israelites in Egypt as they find it difficult to cope with barrage of deceit being employed by APC of which it goes against the tenets of “Omoluabi”.
Similarly, Alhaji Basiru Ahmed Aranse and Hon Banimore on behalf of the defectors call for Governor Seyi Makinde’s special attention to the neglect of Oke-Ogun by the immediate past administration of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
He thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for considering worthy Engr Rauf Olaniyan as his Deputy, therefore pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to Governor Seyi Makinde and Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha led Oyo State PDP.
Other PDP leaders that received the  former APC and ZLP members included Alhaji Azeez Akodudu, Mr Ojebiyi Johnson, Mr Musa Salahudeen, Chief O.K. Salam, Chief Ojewumi, Baba Ige (Komu), Alhaji Muraina Siaba and many others.
