Emir Of Zazzau Commends NBA Zaria For Establishing Law Clinic For Less Privileged

The Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli has commended the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Zaria Branch for establishing the NBA Law Clinic in it’s efforts to assist the less privileged in the society.
Bamalli  gave the commendation when the executive members of the association paid him  homage visit at his palace.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the association, Barrister Kabir Khalil Mantissa and made available to Journalists in Zaria, 

said, the emir said, the NBA Law Clinic will definitely make an impact on the people who are helpless before the courts.
He advised them to be conscious of those seeking for their services, particularly  criminal cases.
The monarch  expressed  dismay over the  manner some lawyers  seek  release of criminals who are  dangerous to the society just because of money,  forgetting the danger ahead after their release.
Bamalli also  lamented over some judges attitude while handling cases which involve less privileged  in the society.
He warned members of the Bar to always place their concerns on national development and protection of citizens rights.
The emir assured them that Zazzau Emirate will continue to associate with the NBA Zaria by partnering with them.
He commended the NBA  for introducing the Bar and Bench Forum where issues between judges and lawyers are presented and addressed.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman NBA Zaria Dr. Hassan Bala told the emir that, they were in the palace to pay homage  and to congratulate him on the national award of CFR and the two years on the throne of Zazzau Emirate.
Dr. Hassan said that the association has been very active and is progressing very well.
According to him, the NBA Zaria is in need of fatherly support and guidance on how to move forward professionally.
He said, the association is proud to have the emir and some top emirate council members as their members.
