Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State, on Sunday said, with gratitude to Almighty God, he salutes the good people of Kaduna State as we celebrate Christmas and prepare to usher in a New Year.
He stated that, through the ages, the lessons of Christmas have endured.
The Governor said, “Christmas is the birth of hope, a spring of goodwill and the promise of peace. Let us reflect these lessons in our daily lives, promote peace and harmony and uphold our neighbours”.
He said, “as 2018 beckons, we pray God to make it a year of peace and many blessings. Let us commit to hard work, personal responsibility and commitment to the common good.
“May God bless each and every one of us and guide our steps,” he prayed.
