El-rufai reshuffles cabinet, nominates a new Commissioner, as one resigns

Governor Nasir Ahmed El-rufai of Kaduna state has reshuffled the State Executive Council as one Commissioner resigned and he nominated another candidate for the State Assembly clearance.
According to a release by Samuel Aruwan, media aide to the Governor, Professor Jonathan Andrew Nok, Commissioner of Health and Human Services, has been moved and he is now to serve as Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology.
Shehu Balarabe of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, is moved and he is to take charge of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.
Dr. Shehu Usman Adamu, Commissioner of Education, has been re-assigned to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
“To fill the vacancy in the Ministry of Health and Human Services, the Governor has nominated Dr. Paul Manya Dogo as the new Commissioner. His name will be forwarded to the Kaduna State House of Assembly for confirmation.
“Dr. Dogo, a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, is currently Chief Resident Consultant at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital” the statement explained.
Dr. Yau Idris, who resigned as the Commissioner of Environment, is going back to the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Agency from where he came before his nomination as Commissioner.
“The governor has thanked Dr. Idris for his services to Kaduna State” the statement said.
