The Chairman Kaduna State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, the Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris has called on his subjects to support and cooperate with all government policies and programmes aimed at providing developmental projects.
He made the call in his Eid-el-Fitr message in his palace as part of Sallah celebrations which mark the end of one month Ramadan fasting.
Emir Idris said the agricultural development programme, security of lives and property, educational transformation as well the water project in Zaria and other areas within the state by the state government need everybody’s input towards achieving the mission.
He called on government to as a matter of urgency revives all the collapse industries in the state in order to accommodate graduates who are jobless in the society.
While congratulating the Muslims communities for the successful completion of one month Ramadan fasting, Alhaji Shehu Idris advised parents to enroll their children in schools in order to acquire both Islamic and Western education that would guide them and their community.
On the security challenges, the Emir also advised communities to report any suspicious movement of person or groups to the nearest authorities for immediate action.
The Emir used the festival to congratulate Nigeria for being a Polio free as declared by World Health Organization and advised parents to make sure they give out their children for immunizations.
