Plateau State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong has felicitated with the Muslem Ummah promising to changed era of bitter relationship as well as the divisions  in the state among faithful.
Lalong commended the Muslem faithful for their prayers and religious observance in the last two months beginning with the Ramadan to the spiritual injunctions of exhibiting love in the last ten days leading to the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
He noted that at no better time can the true lessons of brotherly love, sacrifice, obedience and submission to the will of God, be better exemplified than “at this trying moment of our Nations Economic Recession“.
Lalong therefore enjoined all Muslem faithful and indeed all citizens of the Plateau to follow in the pious life of Prophet Ibrahim, who because of his obedience to sacrifice his son, was blessed beyond measure.
The Governor wished all Muslims a memorable Sallah Celebration and admonished them to be law abiding all through the period of festivity, while also assuring them that all have been put in place to guarantee a hitch free celebration.
