As Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid- El- Kabir, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, has urged them to emulate the spirit of sacrifice, obedience, and righteousness exemplified by the prophetic example of Ibrahim and Ismail.
The governor also prayed that the blessings of Allah be upon the faithful and that the values of compassion, generosity, and forgiveness be upheld.
Fintiri extended warm felicitation to the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa State and across the country in a statement signed by Humwashi Wonosikou Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
In the face of current challenges, he encouraged citizens not to despair but to have faith in the country’s ability to overcome it.
“Let us draw strength from our diversity and our shared humanity. Let us work together to build a brighter future for all.
“Eid-el-Kabir reminds us that with faith, perseverance, and sacrifice, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges”, the governor stated.
While wishing the Muslim community a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir, the Governor assures his administration’s continued commitment to promoting peace, unity, and prosperity for all Adamawa State citizens.
