The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum and Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani FCNA, has felicitated with the Nigerian Muslim Ummah and indeed the entire Muslim world on the auspicious occasion of the 1443 AH Eid-el-Fitri Fitr.
This was contained in a statement signed by his SA Media and Publicity, Honourable Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani and made available to the press in Kaduna on Monday May 2, 2022.
“I beseech Allah to grant every one the opportunity to witness many more of it.
“As you are all aware, fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam aimed at strengthening our faith through spiritual engagements,” it added.
Zailani expressed his serious concerns over the skyrocketing prices of food and consumables in the country, appealing to the government to stem the tide of inflation while urging traders to desist from arbitrarily increasing the price of food items.
The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum urged Muslims to continue to exercise patience and restraint in the interest of peace and national development, in spite of the ceaseless provocations received from those who ought to be their partners in faith.
“Muslims should always remember that Allah is with the patient ones,” he reminded.
