Eid-el-Fitr: Kaduna NNPP Guber Aspirant, Alhaji Tijjani Greets Muslims

A governorship aspirant, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Alhaji Ahmad Umar Tijjani, has rejoiced with the Muslim Ummah on the completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and wished them successful celebration.
In a letter he personally issued, he said, “I sincerely want to rejoice with the Muslims in Nigeria and all over the world for successfully completing another historic and holy month of fasting in our lives. It is no doubt that throughout this holy month, we have learned from the holy books of the teachings acquired and the need for us to be our brother’s keepers in all ramifications as true Muslims.”
He added, “It is a month full of blessings because we also denied ourselves the pleasure of the world but to separate ourselves to strictly observe the tenets of our faith for all these days to follow what the holy prophet taught us to do in relation to our fellow brothers and sisters within and outside the faith by living a life of cordial relationship with all.
“It is my sincere prayers that we will continue in this brotherly loved in order to live by the messages received in order to live in peace with for the overall development of the country.
According to the governorship aspirant, “As we reflect on the teachings learned throughout the month, I want to sincerely plead with all in the course of our remaining years on earth, to please put in practice that which we have learned so that we live a peaceful life here on earth and be blessed in the thereafter with all in the country.”
He observed that in view of the security challenges that is going on in parts of the country, he urged Nigerians to have a rethink at this time of the year, a month full of blessings to please practicalise the teachings of the holy month in order to live peacefully with one another for a harmonious relationship among Nigerians.
“All that is happening in terms of the on-going killings, kidnapping and other forms of social vices are both contrary to the teachings of Islam and, therefore, call on the Muslim faithfuls to live by the teachings of religion in order to live in peace with all,” he prayed.
He emphasized, “The good teachings we have received this holy month should also serve as a way of life as the country prepares to elect new leaders that will steer the affairs of the country to greater heights. It is our prayers that the Almighty give us leaders that are God fearing in all spheres of life in order to ensure sanity in the society.
“As we celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, l and my family wishes all Nigerians and beyond a successful and peaceful celebration and, above all, loving one another irrespective of any different should be our watchword.”
