*Expresses support for PDP acting National Chairman

Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has declared that he is 100% with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship flag bearer in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo.
Gov Makinde said this on Wednesday in Ibadan at the groundbreaking ceremony for the upgrade of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport .
The governor stressed further that he is also backing the PDP Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum.
He emphasized that the time has come for all PDP members in Edo state to rally behind Asue Ighodalo, being the candidate who offers the best option for the people of Edo State.
“Let me declare that Seyi Makinde is 100% with our candidate in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo. Whatever decision you take, we will support you to reposition our party”, he said.
Engr Makinde added, ” Even if we have issues with ourselves, we have an important election on Saturday, so we should all rally around and deliver our candidate.”
The governor then reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) led by Damagum, urging PDP members to collaborate for the party’s success.
