Ahead of Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary and Ebonyi at 27, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has outlined his achievements and activities over the period in office as governor.
The governor while addressing a press conference ahead of the Independence Day Anniversary in Abakaliki, used the opportunity to engage in a blend of actions to serve the current needs of people while setting foundations for the future.
He stated that his administration is setting foundations for the future and have done a lot in infrastructure, health, education, judiciary, etc.
`As government, we understand that our eyes must be beamed
in securing the future of our children, but as well, satisfying

The governor further stated that over one thousand persons are billed to be recruited into Ebonyi state civil service to ensure efficient and effective service delivery, adding that recruitment is also going on in judiciary and house of Assembly respectively.

commitment to the tenets of democracy – transparency,
dedication, stewardship, freedom of information and respect for the rights of our people. Significantly, this is coming a few hours before Nigeria’s 63rd Independence
