Easter: Nigeria needs peace, love and harmony – Olubadan

As Nigerians celeberate Easter, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji has asked Nigerians to make love and peace their watchword.
Oba Adetunji who stated this in his message to Nigerians especially the Christians maintained that Nigeria as a country need peace, love and harmony at this time, more than at any other times in its history.
The royal father stressed that both christians and non-christians alike should realise that proper understanding of the life and times of Jesus Christ shown that the greatest message of Jesus Christ on earth is love which covers multitude of sins.
“As the father of all irrespective of religious and ideological persuasion, we need peace, love and harmony at this time, more than at any other times in the history of our community. It is the height of love and sacrifice for somebody to offer to lay down his life for the sake of others which is exemplified in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ” he said.
Oba Adetunji then lauded the people of Oyo State for conducting themselves harmoniously, saying, without peace and love, there could be no progress.
