e-Naira Programme: Borno State Govt, Bizi Mobile, Kama Integrated, BRMFB Employ 270 Youth

No fewer than, 270 youth in Borno State, courtesy of Governor Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum’s partnership with Bizi Mobile, Kama Integrated as well as, BRMFB were trained under the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) e-Naira programme.

The gesture is part of their efforts of empowering the  youth in Borno State to make them self reliant.

The two days special training programme was held at Kashim Ibrahim College of Education in Maiduguri, the state capital of Borno. 

Zulum who was ably represented by Commissioner of Youth and Labour, Honourable Sa Inna Buba commended Bizi Mobile for partnering in training the youth, especially to make them self reliant.

The governor added that his administration would not relent in its effort towards empowering youth of the state and also urged the 270 beneficiaries to make good use of the training they acquired in order to improve their living standards.

In his personal contribution, Honourable Sa Inna Buba instantly donated one million Naira cash to youth to support the beneficiaries.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman/CEO of Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Limited, Chief  (Dr) Aminu Aminu Bizi disclosed that under the CBN’s e-Naira policy programme, his company has so far, trained 80,000  youth across Nigeria.

Dr.  Bizi pointed out that due to the commitment of his firm, CBN has entrusted them to train youth on Agency Banking and e-Naira programme to enable them carry out  modern cashless transactions in  parts of Nigeria.

Similarly, in their separate speeches at the colourful event, the Chairman of Kama Integrated Services Limited and MD/CEO BRMFB  Limited, Kalli Zanna Gambo and Prof. Bello Alhaji Ibrahim respectively,  described the initiative as an effort to empower the youth and to reduce joblessness, especially in Borno State.

Some of the personalities that honoured the occasion include, Babagana Umara Zulum who was  represented by Honourable Sa Inna Buba, the state Commissioner Works, Honourable Tijjani Bukar, Comptroller CBN Borno State, Dr Tijjani Lawan Kanuriyama, CEO/MD Bizi Mobile, Dr. Aminu Aminu Bizi, Kalli Zanna Gambo, Prof. Bello Alhaji Ibrahim Kalli, market leaders, religious leaders, as well as several youth associations in the state.

The beneficiaries in their separate remarks, while expressing their happiness, thanked the organizers for the training.

They also  commended the state government for the  gesture, saying the training would go a long way in making them self reliant.
