DVC Commissions Projects Executed By ABU Staff School PTA

Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Prof. Ahmed Doko Ibrahim has commissioned a clinic, Parents Teachers Association (PTA) secretariat and a perimeter fence at ABU Staff School.

Thursday, October 6, 2022 said, the projects were executed by the school’s Parents Teachers Association (PTA) chaired by Malam Rabiu Isah. 

Commissioning the projects, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ahmed Doko Ibrahim, described the school as ‘unique’ as it had been producing great personalities over the years. 

Prof. Doko, therefore, called on all alumni of the school to help contribute to its development. He also urged the school PTA to keep up the good work, as the school was looking forward to getting more projects. 

Earlier in his address of welcome, Chairman, ABU Staff School Management Board, Prof. Yahaya Kajuru, commended the effortd, contributions and commitment of the PTA towards maintaining the standard of the school. 

He said that the association worked very hard during the COVID-19 pandemic by organizing workshops for teachers to improve their  skills and to move the system forward. 

The Chairman, ABU Staff School Parents Teachers Association, Malam Rabiu Isah, said that the gesture is to show support and passion for the school, adding that they would continue to work with the school management to improve  teaching and learning. 

In his remarks, the Headmaster, ABU Staff School, Malam Umar Bala, commended the efforts of the association and urged other stakeholders to emulate them.
