The Principal Consultant of the contractor while appealing to subscribers to remain calm, said  all the subscribers who purchased the land would be given their allocation as soon as the differences between him and the DSS cooperative are resolved.
” Gentlemen of the press. I am speaking to you today in order to inform you about the latest development on the DSS cooperative land. You will recall that subscribers who purchased the lands had on Tuesday, 11th  November, 2021 protested over their inability to get their lands. The DSS cooperative few hours after made a statement regarding the money collected from the subscribers”, he said
Mr Adedeji added, ” I wish to say categorically that we are resolving the grey areas with the DSS cooperative. All the subscribers will get their lands as soon as we resolve the matter. We have met and we are still meeting to resolve the matter. I own DSS as a security agency in high esteem and at the same time I own the subscribers in high esteem.”
“I am assuring the subscribers that all of them will get their allocation, their money would be returned to them if cannot get the land for them. The money in question is still intact. I did not elope with their money. No one will be shortchanged. All of them will be given the land, but in a situation if they cannot get the land, I will return their money to them.
The Principal Consultant insisted that the money he collected from the subscribers still remained intact, explained that he will refund the subscribers if he fails to allocate the lands to the subscribers.
“I am using this medium to appeal to our subscribers that very soon the issue will be a thing of the past, they will be given the allocation, but anyone who cannot get the land will be refunded. No one will be shortchanged”.
It will be recalled that subscribers who bought plots of lands at the DSS  estate located at Ile-Titun area of Ibadan on Tuesday, 9th November protested against the refusal of DSS cooperative to allocate lands to them while the DSS corporative on its part in reaction to the protests said that the contractor has not remitted any of the money collected from the subscribers to the corporative account, adding that there was breach of the MOU by the contractor.
