According to him, all PDP members should see themselves as one family and work for the victory of the party at the November 26 Governorship election.
He how ever dropped the hint that leaders of the party in collaboration with other stakeholders are working assiduously to ensure that peace reigns within the party.
Chief Akinnadeju who is also a Consultant to notable construction companies in the country, described the crisis rocking the party as ”Democracy at Work”.
“In unity we will be able to fight our course as I can assure the people that the reconciliation process which stakeholders had commenced shall be fruitful”.
While further calling on warring factions to Sheath their sword, he reminded them that ”when two elephants fight, the grass shall suffer”
He also dropped the hint that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shall take appropriate decision at the right time to resolve the lingering crisis within the party.
INEC, he said is a body constituted by law and it is known for upholding the rule of law as an unbiased umpire, adding, ”as a stakeholder, I appeal to the two sides to sheath their swords and strengthen the records”.
He noted that, appealing to one side will not help the matter to make peace, hence ”we must appeal to both sides since we have respect for the rule of law which can only be delivered by the Supreme Court.”
The Idanre born politician commended those leaders and other stakeholders for embarking on the process of reconciliation adding that ”we must all work well to see the party as one since we have no two candidates”.
